About Dance Teacher
Hsing Ya WU A celebrated choreographer and dancer from Taiwan, Hsing Ya has earned 11 grants from institutions like Arts Council England and Taiwan's Ministry of Culture. Her brilliance graced London's The Place for Resolution 2022 and Resolution 2019. With a rich portfolio, she's been part of Ella Mesma Company since 2016 and performed at esteemed venues like Sadler’s Wells (London).
Hsing Ya's impact spans Dance Forum Taipei Company, WC Dance company, Feng Dance Company, and Appetite Dance Productions. Her global reach includes The American Dance Festival, Taiwan, and New York programs. Holding a Choreography degree from Taipei National University of the Arts (TNUA), her expertise is unparalleled. In 2023, Hsing Ya shines as residency choreographer at Paris' Cité internationale des arts.
